Was wollen Sie wissen? Warum sind alle so an der Vita interessiert? Was sagen die Dinge aus, die genannt werden? Ist es nicht wieder eine Schublade, in die wir uns stecken. Namedroping- wozu? Was wird bemessen? Hinter all dem stehen längst überholte Bewertungsmuster, von denen ich persönlich nichts halte. Es wirft Grenzen auf, es spaltet und trennt. Erfolg zu haben bedeutet für mich nicht die Menge oder die Orte oder die Stücke, die ein:e Künstler:in inszeniert hat. Erfolg ist die Größe zu haben mit allen und überall arbeiten zu können!
What do you want to know? Why is everyone so focused on the résumé? What do the things that are mentioned actually say? Isn’t this just another box we put ourselves into? Name-dropping—what for? What is being measured? Behind all of this lie long-outdated systems of evaluation, which I personally do not believe in. They create boundaries, they divide and separate.
For me, success does not mean the number of productions, the places, or the works an artist has staged. Success is having the breadth and openness to be able to work with everyone and everywhere!
